Party Planning: Alyssa's Baby Shower

Alyssa was the last in the baby trifecta, we went with a nautical theme for her shower.  My friend Angie and I did most of the work for the shower--she did all the food except for the desserts, and I did the desserts and paper goods (other than the food tents--Angie did those to match the invites).

Banner, tied with burlap string to match the theme.

Chai Latte cupcakes, the mom to be's favorite drink made into a cupcake!  We added sails to match the theme

How cute!

We decided on a game that we could all play through out the shower so that the party wouldn't lose flow.  This game was fun, you got a bracelet with some diaper pins and if you said baby someone could take your pin. Who ever had the most at the end won a prize.

I made this anchor to create a photo booth area.

Favors were life savers to match the theme, I made the toppers for the bags

Party Planning: Angie's Baby Shower

Angie was next on the baby shower train.  We decided on a Dr Suess theme, because Angie hadn't totally decided on what her nursery would be.  One of my favorite details of this shower was that we asked people to bring a book instead of a card, so that when little baby Fairbanks was born, he would have a whole library!  It worked out really well because you can get some little books for the same price as a nice card.  My friend Alyssa and I planned this shower together!

For the food we stuck to the theme:

I made all the paper goods for the shower, I loved creating them!

Angie is a the Social Media manger for Steals.com, so of course her baby shower needed it's own hashtag!

For favors we did cookies in the shape of hats and fish

Water bottle wraps are some of my favorite things, they make ordinary water bottles look classy and fit in, rather than standing out on the table.

This banner worked great for people to take photos under

We also had a "photo booth" station with this cute frame.

We did a "Crazy Celebrity Baby Name" game, some of those names were super insane...

Food all set up.

I made red velvet cupcakes and we used cotton candy to create Thing 1 and 2 hair!

Party Planning: Amy's Baby Shower

I had a bunch of friends have babies this year so I am almost a professional baby shower planner!  Here's the first of the three showers.

For this shower I did all the deserts, here's what we had!
